Application Instructions

Once you begin the online application, it must be completed in full. Please have the following information available prior to beginning:
  • Company Information: Mailing Address, Phone, Email
  • Business Information: Website, Service Area
  • Commissioning Certifications from one of the following organizations:
    • Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP): Building Commissioning Association (BCA)
    • Certified Commissioning Provider: Associated Air Balancing Council Commissioning Group (ACG)
    • Accredited Commissioning Process Provider: University of Wisconsin at Madison (UWM)
    • Systems Commissioning Administrator: National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB)
    • Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP®): Association of Energy Engineers (AEE)
  • Or Two References: Contact, Mailing Address, Phone, Email (if missing commissioning certificate from one of the organizations listed above)
  • Attendance at a Building Tune-up Program Training for Service Providers
Complete Building Tune-Up Service Provider project submissions are comprised of:
  • Service Provider Application
  • Certificate of Insurance
Please notify all references that a representative from the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program will be contacting them shortly. Any delays in receiving reference responses will delay application approval.

Once this application is approved, attendance at an annual Building Tune-up Program Training for Service Providers is mandatory to maintain your company’s status as a Large Building Tune-up Service Provider. Your company must also complete at least one Small or Large Building Tune-up project each year in order to maintain your company’s status as a Building Tune-up Service Provider.
